this was a good book. i live in the area the author lives in and likes hearing the local names and places. loves that the boy was named trent as i live near the trent river. good book and a quick read.

I thought i had it figured out from the begining, boy was i wrong. I loved the ending. Could not stop when i started, had to know the end. I think this would make a good sf movie!

Wish I wasn't a fast reader - couldn't put it down. I was worried how the book was going to end, and was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the good work Mr. Brandner, hope to see many more books written by you.

I was very impressed with this first book from Mr. Brandner. I had a hard time tearing myself away. I can't wait to see his next work!

This was a great book, with a very fascinating story and loveable characters. The story moved along at a nice pace and the writing was excellent. As soon as I started the book, I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I can't wait for his next book.

This book was very engaging. I couldn't put it down yet I hated for it to end. Wonderful book, I can not wait for his next one. Real characters and a thrilling plot keep you involved throughout the entire book. If you love Stephen King and Dean Koontz - you will love Tom Brandner!

I made the mistake of starting this book before bed. Once I got into it I couldn't put it down, I read it cover to cover in one nite. Mr Brandner got my attention and kept it, my imagination took care of the visuals. Stephen King has some competition. I can't wait to see if there will be more from this imaginative and creative individual.

Hey Uncle Tom. I love your book, The Rain. It was suspenseful,chilling, and to me has much potential for a movie one day. The characters were very easy to relate to and the plot was very unique. We love you and know you have lot's of support from us here up in Maryland. And I can't wait to read your future books! =)
