They fight together to defeat the king of shadows and bring color to this land now named rainbow land! and wisp is renamed rainbow brite. It's a super adventure any kid will love!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Rainbow Brite - The Beginning of Rainbow Land [VHS] (VHS Tape)
It started innocently enough, let's see if amazon has the series Gargoyles available( one of the BEST animated series ever!), then I thought, hmmm, maybe they have Fraggle Rock, and from there my adventures led me to Jem and The Last Unicorn and finally to Rainbow Bright. All of the above I have loved since I was a kid, but Rainbow Bright has to be one of my first favorites. We're talking pre-five years old favorite, and it still is. Probably it has a lot to do with nostalgia and the sheer joy that these wonderful selections are still available( we can all see were my next pay check is going), but at 17 I still can watch them and not wonder what the heck was I thinking back then! That says a lot for the shows, they were the more mature kid shows in that they didn't have some weird alien with a shape on there head getting food out of some squeeze machine that looks like it came out of 1984. Which let's face it, that kind of stupidity, not verbatim of course, prevailed then and now. And for those who have not seen gargoyles, it is has one of the most developed storyines, plot and characters of any animated show I have seen on American television. So check out the re-runs on Toon Disney, yes it's Disney but DO NOT let that fool you.
