Whether you are a fan of the Rainbow Fish stories, or whether you just appreciate the art (many people are ambivalent about the moral of the story, but find the picture quality of the books very high), this hand puppet will please you.It looks and sparkles just like the Rainbow Fish in the books. As a hand puppet, it works very well as an adjunct to reading the story aloud. On display in a child's room (or elsewhere), it is really quite lovely.

No one's going to tell me that this is not an exceptionally good idea. I enjoyed making them with half of the kids in my family, and attacking the other half with my bepuppeted hand, just like the late (and apparently huge) Rod Hull did with Emu on Parky that time. Really funny. Though the wife sent me to bed without any supper.
