Scuffle hoes rock,
By
This review is from: Rainbow Gardener 34310BLU 2-Way Hoe, Blue (Lawn & Patio)
If you don't like to get on your knees to weed and have enough arm strength to wield a hoe, then a scuffle hoe is just the best. With short back-and-forth motions, it rips up the first inch or so of ground, breaks it up, and severs weeds in the process. If your weeds have long roots this won't yank the roots out, but you can keep killing new growth when it comes up. Just mulch those severed weeds right back into the dirt. This is also a great tool if your dirt is weed-free and you just want to loosen it up a little before planting.

This is a great garden tool. Easy to use & quick too! I can weed an approx. 200 sq. foot area in just a few minutes. The size makes it easy to work around plants. Light weight so it won't wear you down. It's almost addicting once you start using it. I almost always end up doing more area than I intended to. A must have for anyone that wants to limit the use of chemicals in their gardening!
