Having a good night of sleep also improves your focus and concentration on the next day.

This is not "beta carotene", this is actual vitamin A. Vitamin A should be less than one half of the dosage of Vitamin D that you take in a day.

I can see nothing wrong with it... but it's hard to prove that something like this really works.

I'm all for vitamins. Anything to boost my body is great, especially when it's natural. I don't like relying on energy drinks of things of that nature. When I started researching, I was relieved and intrigued to see I wasn't the only woman my age struggling with a less than desired ability to recall memories. That being said, I chose Rainbow Light because it was a vitamin AND a supplement; not just one or the other. When I think of a multivitamin, I only think of impact on my immune levels but this has much more benefit.

I use the dosage with meals to make it easy to remember to take. Plus, I've always been told pills are better digested when taken with food. I had positive experiences when taking just the rainbow light; my focus was better. But, it was even more enhanced when I complimented it with sulbutiamine capsules- Sulbutiamine Nootropic Capsules (200 mg) 100 Capsules. Not only did the Rainbow Light and Sulbutiamine improve my memory, but they also gave me better in-the-moment focus abilities. Where I used to get run down with piles and hop from one to another I am now able to sort through one at a time with ease. That's allowed me to be less stressed and function better overall not only at work, but at home. Running around with pets and kids and laundry makes for a never ending list of chores...

Because of the success I've had using these, I suggested the combonation to a friend who suffers from severe anxiety at work under deadlines and she's also significantly improved her overall work abilities and she has her anxiety in check. If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believe the progess she made since starting the supplements. They can really be a lifesaver for the working parents out there in the world.

இ Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:
ѾѾѾѾ Recommended with warm fuzzies, but with some reservations about its suggestion to take up to three multivitamins per day.

A few decades ago, your typical multivitamin was a blend of all the essential vitamins and minerals, with most of the ingredients added at dosages of about 100% of the Reference Daily Intake (RDI, which is based on the older Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)) and Daily Value (DV) as recommended by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Health Canada. Although most vitamin companies followed the FDA's recommendations for daily dosages, some companies added megadoses of specific vitamins that they claimed was targeted at specific people or specific health benefits, e.g. men's vitamins, women's vitamins, senior old-age multivitamins, vitamins for stressed-out people, vitamins for very active people, vitamins to help increase your libido, etc, etc. Some of the claims and logic used in these multivitamin formulations make sense. For example, women may need a different vitamin formulation than men because women need more iron due to blood loss during menstruation and women need more calcium and vitamin D to counter the tendency of postmenopausal women to develop osteoporosis.

However, most of the special-formulation multivitamins have not really been well-tested to prove their efficacy, and to really blur the facts, how you may feel after taking different multivitamins is extremely dependent on your own lifestyle, your diet, and your own unique body, so there really is no one-size-fits-all pill for everyone.

I've been buying Rainbow Light Active Health teen vitamins for my son for a number of years with great results; but I've recently decided to try their Brain and Focus vitamin since my teenage son is under quite a bit of academic stress in college. I prefer to use vitamins for my family which are based on whole-food nutrients. I feel that there are regular updates in the medical field as to what previously unknown nutrients are beneficial to us...and with a whole-food approach, I feel we're more likely to be receiving those benefits even before we know they're needed. These teenager-targeted vitamins are also entirely free of sugar, lactose, wheat, gluten, and yeast and are gentler on the stomach than other vitamins that I've bought. My son can take these on an empty stomach; while the big-name drugstore brands must be taken with food or he else he gets queasy. I have the same situation with stomach tolerance of vitamins so I take the "Women's One" version made by this same company. While 3 tablets is the recommended dosage for these vitamins, it does say that you can adjust the dosage to 1, 2, or 3 based upon your dietary needs. Although the tablets are rather large, my son has no difficulties with them. I can see where their size might be a problem for kids who can't swallow pills easily. I keep hoping that they'll switch to vegetable capsules.

Brain and Focus vitamins contain a Brain Support Blend (L-theanine, choline, ginkgo and potent vitamin Bs), that specifically promotes focus, concentration and energy, while also supporting the nervous system. It is intended to help teens feel and perform at their peak level.
