Because of how the typical USA diet skews and because of how the minerals are absorbed, you want a supplement with a 2:1 magnesium to calcium ratio. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find supplements like that, and many that you do find are rather expensive, or are a chalky, unpleasant liquid formula. So I was very happy to find this Rainbow Light supplement which is just right in every way. Yes, it is three large pills per day, but it also gives you exactly what you need to ease joint and muscle pain, and the price cannot be beat--especially if you sign up for the "subscribe and save" plan.

These pills are not coated in any way. Please note that they have a pungent, herby smell & taste, and are very hard to swallow. Also, you're supposed to take three per day. I have started with one per day and that's tough enough to get down. In their defense, they seem very 'natural'.
