This review is from: Rainbow Magic Special Edition: Mia the Bridesmaid Fairy (Mass Market Paperback)
We have so many of the Rainbow Magic Fairy books I lost count! And there are still so many more to read thru! I have stopped buying the individual books that go 1-7 in a set and started going thru all the special edition ones, you get 3 stories in one book; and I usually can draw it out an entire week for nightly reading. They are very cute yet always predictable. I get very tired of this series over and over same thing, however to my surprise, my daughters (3&6) act surprised every single time! They have fun guessing how the girls will get the "whatever they need to get" back from Jack Frost and his nasty goblins. They are easy flowing and easy to read books and I would recommend them, they are addicting in the sense there are SO many different ones to read, you feel like you are missing something if you don't read them all.
Also in the special edition books such as this one Mia; they scatter 7 letters throughout the book and then you have to unscramble the to make a word pertaining to the book. My daughters love searching for the missing letters as I read. There are drawings on almost every page of the books, simple pictures, but they still love to look at them. In this book, Mia the Bridesmaid Fairy; Rachel and Kristy are in a cousins wedding and of course things start going wrong...when Mia the bridesmaid fairy shows up and asks for the girls help to get back the 3 missing items that the Goblins hid in the human world. There are 3 stories made up of roughly 5-6 chapters a piece and each story pertains to one of the missing items. Its the same for all the special edition books. |
