I ordered this paper for my classroom. While the color is good, it's not heavyweight enough for school use.

This is not your heavy duty construction paper, but for my kids who go through paper like water, it was totally worth the purchase.

Yes, it's not heavyweight paper, but that doesn't matter to us. I was surprised by how light it was, but no matter. The kids don't care and it has supplied us with hours of fun.

This pack has a great color selection but the construction paper is really thin, so if you are looking for heavy construction paper this is not it, if you are looking for thin paper-like construction paper this will work great for you!

This is not much heavier than printer paper - I haven't tried yet, but suspect it would run though the printer with no problems. It is alright for crafts that do not require a heavier weight paper. We cut it into 1/2" strips to make a paper chain for our Christmas tree.

While this is not, as other reviewers have mentioned, the 'thick' heavy-weight construction paper, it's thicker than printer paper, and a fun colorful paper for kids. My children go through A LOT of paper, they are drawing and 'project' fiends, so this is a perfect value for us, and as it's less dense, it's better for the environment and the recycling box. I did purchase the 300-sheet pack of heavy weight for specific 'projects', and I think both packages offer value in different regards. It's a HUGE stack, about the size of 2 or 2.5 reems of Printer paper. Vibrant colors, good texture and TONS of paper, can't be beat.

I have to admit I've never touched the stuff, but my 4 year old's been using it for over a month now and never once complained about the weight. :)
