Wealth, Romance, & a Hunt for Traitors,
By A Customer
This review is from: Rainbow at Dusk (Hardcover)
I found this review on the back of my paper back version of this book.In Jess Ramsay's thoroughbred world, you held your head high even though your heart was breaking. So, although Major Vance Trent had gone to another girl's arms, Jess carried on as proudly as before. There was the Red Cross and Aunt Ellen's plantation to help run, and, above all, the perils of subversive infiltrators. With the recklessness of dispairing love, Jess threw herself into the hunt for traitors-only to find, at her blackest hour, the courageous figure of Vance Trent by her side... This next came from a prologue page. "Did you drop from heaven?" This book is a great romance and still has good mystery and suspense. It's also clean(except for one or two "D"s), which is very hard to find in a Romance novel these days. Even though, it's set in the 1940s' it's still a great book. Enjoy your reading! |
