5.0 out of 5 stars Great book
I thought this was the best romance I had read in a while. I was in the mood for a sweet tale like this, and also found a new author in the process. Her writing is so easy to understand. I was so addicted I finished it too fast.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry to say
I am sorry to have to say this, but this is the sorriest book I've bought in a long, long time. The plot could have made an interesting story, but the author has tried to impress the reader how smart she is with big words and confusing discriptions. In one love scene there is an 18 line sentence.

I am sorry to have to say this, but this is the sorriest book I've bought in a long, long time. The plot could have made an interesting story, but the author has tried to impress the reader how smart she is with big words and confusing discriptions. In one love scene there is an 18 line sentence.
"Of a sudden, the horned demon-god was a towering silhouette against the fading rainbow, loomingup over her to shed his raiment, revealing his barb, her euphoria subsiding as her sloe-green eyes, somnolent with passion. slowly fluttered open and she spied him poised over her darkly, in all his naked bronze glory, wanting, demanding his vestal bride---"
It is difficult to pick out the most stupid chapter in this book. It was certainly a waste of money.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun read, May 7, 2002
By A Customer
I enjoyed the antics of this hero and heroine. Particularly unusual for a novel of this type was the "hard-drinking" hero, and heroine who wanted to be a nun, and other colorful characters that add scenic dimension. It only took a couple days to read. I like the original cover art better, though. The heroine's Irish father is a well-meaning chump, but he gets his way in the end and everything works out for the best. A romp of a story, and worth reading.
