My daughter has asthma. I took the wall-to-wall carpeting out of our condo, but it didn t help. My wife started playing this CD every night. My daughter started having less attacks, and hardly ever using her inhaler. We had to move to a new condo, and I have not had a chance to take the rugs out yet. I worked on the transplant floor at Children s Hospital Boston. We had a code situation where a transplant patient was suffering acute pain from a lung transplant. I got these for my 5 year old granddaughter. They worked like magic, helping her settle down at bedtime, not waking up serveral times at night. The music, stories and soothing voice. are magnificent.

This CD is very soothing and relaxing. "Rainbows" is a peaceful story, with beautiful songs about sunshine and a rainbow. My children loved listening to the story and the songs; it relaxes children and puts them to sleep. The guitar parts were written and arranged by professional Boston musicians, and you can tell. (One of the musicians now plays lute with classical ensembles in New York city.)

Sunshine is more like a relaxation/healing narrative, except that the language used to describe the exercises is appropriate for children. Again, the music is soothing (keyboards and waves), and voice is very peaceful.

This CD is beautifully produced, and is perfect for this age group. It was reviewed by doctors (pediatricians and psychologists) to make sure that is appropriate for this age, and that it does not contain imagery that children in hospitals might be sensitive to. The narratives include scientifically-proven exercises; there has been a lot of research about the effectiveness of these mind-body exercises.

I very highly recommend this CD; you will not be disappointed!

This is a great CD and is very well-produced. It is not only good for young children who would be lulled to sleep by the soothing music but also for older listeners who would find it relaxing to listen to at the end of a hectic day.

I would really recommend buying this CD. It is a real investment.
