Works well, it is not my first cartridge, I've used a shower filter for years now. It will last more than a year for one person showering daily, but it is helpful to have a coupling for back flushing the unit.

Additionally, it is difficult to install this filter in the housing without large water pump pliers, medium pliers, and Teflon tape. If you don't use these tools and tape to reseal the cartridge in the housing, the housing will leak.

Last, as the cartridge ages, hot and cold will mix differently, and sometimes it will take a subtle adjustment of the hot water to get anything other than cold water out of the head. I'm not sure if this applies to newer thermostatic valves.

I have been using a rainshow'r filter on my shower for years, to remove the chlorine. It really works!

I am very happy with the filter replacement cartridge for my Rainshow'r Shower Filter. Having the chlorine removed from my shower water gives me confidence that I am caring for the health of my body. Promptness of delivery and ease of shopping online at Amazon.com are very important as well.

We have used these filters for a few years now and are very pleased with how our skin feels afterward. Whatever the filter removes - chlorine, etc. - it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth..not dry as hard water sometimes does.

I can't comment on how much chlorine these filters remove, but the shower water certainly smells less of chlorine since i started using them.

I have filters on all my using and drinking waters. This is by far a superior product, especially for those who live in large cities that have hard water such as Los Angeles!

Not an exciting product, but installation is a no brainer and it does what it's supposed to do.

I DISCOVERED THIS PRODUCT AT AN EXPO BEING DISTRIBUTED BY A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL. THERE WAS A SIGN ASKING "WHY ARE YOU TAKING A SHOWER IN BLEACH?" OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT. THIS PRODUCT IS A SKIN LIFESAVER. I LIVE IN AN AREA WITH LOTS OF CHLORINE IN THE WATER; SOMETIMES I EVEN SMELL THE ODOR WHEN I TURN ON THE FAUCETT. I WILL NOT LIVE WITHOUT MY PURE RAINSHOWER ANY MORE!!
