I have hundreds of quilting books, but I can honestly say that this one surprised me. I don't think it is for a first time quilter, although I could be wrong. At first when I looked inside, I wondered how I would ever trace the patterns, some are really detailed. Then I realized that there is an enclosed cd that has the actual size of each applique piece. This instantly convinced me that it is a really nice book, well worth the money.

This book was recommended by a friend and I am not sorry that I purchased it. There are many great gift projects in this book and they are easy and inexpensive to make. Anyone considering trying applique will not be disappointed in this book.
