The band does it up again one more time. The BBB is a heavy hard rockin bluesy band with skills. They are great retro bluesrockers but keep it fresh all the time.Raised On Rock finds the band sounding as good as ever. Its all about the guitar. I was raised on rock and so were they so its no wonder I love this cd.Every song hits the mark and theres a hidden bonus jam at the end if you still want more!

I have quite enjoyed Mike Onesko and the things he communicates through his guitar. This man can play, he can sing and he writes fantastic music. This is a guitar record with blues based riffage. It is mixed and mastered by Grooveyards' ace in the hole Don Moore, who is genius. Sonically this record delivers as does all of their work. Awesome cover and packaging. Mike Onesko.... I will buy everything he is on.

Blues Rocker,

Any fan of blues rock will enjoy BBB. The style is much like the early 70's hard rock blues sound that dominated the FM radio scene. It is great to see bands that still have a love for gutsy blues that is rivaled by no other!

The rhythm section are excellent here - killer bass runs and tight drumming but nearly all the rest is weak. Terrible vocals, uninteresting guitar solos, no memorable songs etc, and on the cover version of "Love is worth the blues" the singing sings "Love ain't worth the blues",changing the whole meaning of the song, therefore ruining a classic - if you're gonna do a cover version at least take the time to listen to the words! The sleeve cover is great though - making the blues sexy!
