I'm a thirty-something dandified man with a wife, two kids, and a stable job. God, how I wish my parents had raised me right. Due to their non-judgmental, supportive parenting, I never had a chance to be an abusive rapist like I was meant to be! I mean, I never even once groped a classmate without permission. I never even spewed a "make me a sandwich, woman!" comment on an online forum! And all that time, I was caught in a net of self-loathing, seeing the women in my life having it so much easier than me, what with their superior pay, lack of sexual harassment on a daily basis, and numerous other advantages. Well, all that nonsense stops with me!

While I may be a lost cause, I'm going to raise my son right, and use this book as a guide to do so! By God, my son will be in prison for rape by the time he's 20 years old! My son will be feared and loathed by my daughter and wife due to the way he treats them! In short, my son will be a MAN, something I've never been! Thank you, Doug, for showing me the way to raise him right!

I wish this book existed when I was a boy.

Every time I converse with a woman, instead of dictating to her; each day I genuinely care about the well-being of others; every time I look at my daughter and hope for her that she has a fulfilling life of independence and love, well, I fell the shame of being a life-long Nancy Boy.

Now I find myself adrift in the twenty-first century, basking in the love of those of all (and no) genders, with friends, an empty FBI file, and a healthy relationship with my daughter, I writhe in self-loathing knowing that I should be an isolationist, practicing militia drills in my Michigan compound while my daughter darns socks, listens to Rush Limbaugh (but not any commercials with music, mind you), and sleeping the nights away in my bomb shelter.

This is brilliant. I suggest every right-wing lunatic I know get this book so they can raise their male children never to have consensual sex. This will increase the likelihood that there will be fewer congenitally selfish, short-sighted idiots born, thus making things better for the rest of us, who, you know, aren't crazy and would like to live in a sane society.

This book is disgusting. I bought it thinking it was satire but Giles is not joking. Giles writes, "The feminists and the men who have yielded up their private parts to the lesbians, I mean feminists, [who] have an organized system of male hatred that they just can’t wait to slap your son with". Not only is It is obvious the author has no idea what feminism is he goes on and on about how men are natural leaders but spends most of the book whining about how men are victims of a female conspiracy. Apparently he forgot to look up the definition of "leader". I think what struck me as most disturbing is the emphasis he places on the importance of how we should raise all boys to dominate and control. It left me with the question of whether or not he was implying that they are to dominate and control women? Does that mean I should squash my daughters dream of becoming a doctor and instead raise her to be dominated and controlled? Books like this nurture male hatred.

According to his bio, "Doug Giles is the man behind ClashDaily.com. In addition to driving ClashDaily.com…"

He is both behind it and is driving it.

I don't know what IT is, but I won't be satisfied until he is run over by it.

When your stated goal is to raise children to be loathed by a significant, respected and educated majority of the population, you may have other issues. Mommy never wuvved Dougie. The book features a bio of Doug Giles which mentions that he has only daughters, and I'm sure they are simpering, frightened victims with professionally and publicly crushed souls. It also mentions his love of killing things, big guns and cigars. Hmmm. A pattern emerges.

Finally! A book for MANLY MEN in need of re-affirmation that degrading women, choking down any sort of emotion, and collecting guns is fantastic and the only *real* way to be a MAN. Who cares about treating women with respect, or acknowledging diversity in other people's personalities - clearly ALL men have to be hyper masculine, and any deviation from this is not a sign of a diverse or forward-thinking society, but a sign of a bunch of NANCY-BOY LIBERALS who DARE treat women with respect!!! Thanks to this book, I have the confidence to push my outdated 50s ideals on everyone around me!
