5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for anyone with children, April 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Raising Catholic Children (Paperback)
Usually when reading about large, religious families, they seem so perfect and saintly as to be unreal and unapproachable. Not so in this case. This family started out thinking that a family of four children would be ideal. (The course that my husband and I will probably take.) Then, you rejoice as they welcome many new ones through adoption and blood-birth, and makes it easy for me to want to reevaluate my own plans! I especially appreciated the comments about taking children to Mass - my husband and I often sit out large portions of the Mass with our figity one-year-old, but the author seems to think that God gives you credit just for the attempt!
