Along with The Fires of the Borderland, this CD is a masterpiece of trance, conscience-altering music. Unlike the despicable new agey stuff with chirping grasshoppers and gurgling tap-water, this is no nonsense music. Electronic manipulations mixed with some mysterious instruments, non-rhythmic constructs, ponderous spirits... Exercise caution and listen at your own risk!

Rapoon's music isnt music...it goes beyond that...soundtracks for places...that may have actually existed..or are only in your fantasies and nighmares...
Nuclear winters...souls ascending...the Bering sea... ritualistic sacrifices...angels on high...power lines singing in the wind...morse code percussives... As soothing a music you'll ever find...but can drive those of feeble mind...irrepairably insane... |
