First off, I would like to thank the author for writing this book on Red Claw Culture and esspecially for including the section on information resources. The book was able to bring a lot of great information together, and presented it in a manner that made the average 'water farmer' comfortable with Red Claw production. This must not have been an easy task, considering the lack of available information. After reading the book I decided to dig deeper and became excited with the possibilities. The book was correct in stating that this industry is in it's infancy and quite likely will grow fast. I now operate the Red Claw Crayfish Hatchery in Pittsburg and have a website. And this book got me started!

I felt a little ripped off when I got this in the mail. My fault for not noticing its only 50 pages, but this was more like a pamphlet ( a very informative one ) than a book. Didnt read the entire thing yet, but after scanning it over for a few minutes doing selective reading, I feel that alot of parts has been glossed over.
Maybe more for someone who's already familiar with aquaponics or raising fishes to adapt to crayfish. Beginners like me need more hand holding.

Can you repeat that please?,

I found this "book" lacking in many areas. While helpful in some ways, this publication barely qualifies as informative. Most of the "facts" are anecdotal and not backed by any hard science. Any facts that are present can be found numerous times through out the book, apparently used as filler to obtain the fifty pages. Even these facts can be found online with a little time devoted to any search engine.
