I have picked up this book over and over to learn more about raising rabbits for the small backyard rabbitery. I recommend it to anyone that is a first time rabbit raiser. It is a very detailed step by step book on how to raise good meat rabbits. I bought the book 12 years ago and will keep reading it for many more years.

This is the perfect book to read if you are interested in raising rabbits. Everything you need to know is in this book. If you are interested in raising rabbits for meat, this is a great book.

This book covers all of the basics for raising healthy and productive rabbits, whether for pets or production. Lots of simple advice and easy-to-understand information. Since I have a small rabbitry, this book is one of my best references.

This book is obviously written by someone who's raised rabbits and knows the ins & outs of doing so. It's a good read for anyone who raises rabbits or wants to do so.

This is a well made product of a book. It will take a reader from A to Z on Rabbits.
Simple read. Very candid. Covers every single subject concerning Rabbits.

While there is a lot of good information in this book, many of the descriptions were muddy. For example, even with drawings, I was lost in the description of how to make a feeding dish out of a coffee can. Also the descriptions seem to go all over the place, hopping from subject to subject just like a rabbit. While I think this is a worthwhile reference book, I'm hoping there is a better book out there for the beginning rabbit breeder. Something more concise with better organization.

Befor adding rabbits to your farm or home read this book .it will give you a lot of info to get you on the wright track .more for the person wanting to raise rabbits for meat not much for the person with a cuddly pet in mind .a good fit for me as a hobbyist breeder-homesteader
