One should read this book after reading the classic - Autobiography of a Yogi. Rajashri is the first successor of self realization fellowship started by Paramhans Yogananda. It narrates the spiritual life of a successful businessman - Mr. Lynn (also called as Rajashri Janakananda). It has also the letters written by Paramhansa Yogananda to Rajashri which are very interesting read.

Sometimes our goals seem out of reach or impossible to achieve but this book shows us that we can do it, we can make it in this lifetime. If Rajarsi could realize God with all of the work commitments and responsibilities he had, then so can we with such a smaller amount of responsibilities. This book is so inspiring and teaches true love between a Guru and Disciple. Rajarsi teaches us that realization is not just for the Gurus, it's for each and every one of us. I love this book and highly recommend it to anyone who truly wants to know God.

I am reading this book again for about the third time in 10yrs. I love this book because it's not really about Rajarsi Janakananda, it's really about yogananda. It gives me further looks into the depths of the rare consciousness of a super conscious being (Yogananda) who walked on this earth a couple of decades ago. This is a priceless gift to those of humanity who are receptive enough to receive it.
