1.0 out of 5 stars False Advertising, October 16, 2010

Ordered these based on the pictures provided showing being used to store bottles of wine. These were too small to be used for standard 750ml bottles and were useless.

2.0 out of 5 stars Depends what you have in your fridge, October 22, 2010

Bought two pieces 9 months ago. Generally the clear acrylic is not strong enough to support a stack of bottles - the upper unit is now in pieces. Like the picture, when stacked 1 bottle hangs off the side of the first level, putting extra pressure on plastic.
To elaborate on another review, seems like these are designed for the narrower Bordeaux-style bottle (pinot grigio or sauv blanc) not for heavier Burgundy-style chard bottles or Champagne-style bottles - their weight/width was a clear strain.
It was nice to keep the wine corralled and off the fridge-muck, but perilous when bottles slid out (esp riesling hock-style tapered bottles). Also you have to destack to access bottles on the lower level.
Given all this, it would be better to buy one and then stack on top of that (6 bottles rather than a max of 8/9). I think most wine racks have problems with bottle size variation, but a sturdier solution would let you stack big bottles on top.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wish I Had Read Reviews, July 12, 2011

Had I read the reviews, I would have not been surprised to find that the racks were too small to hold wine bottles--maybe a size for beer bottles. The price and cost of shipping is not worth sending back. I may find some use, but am betting I will trash before long. I normally read reviews but did not this time--lesson learned.
