Book Description

November 1999
We all have a story to tell. More often than not it is a tragedy that hides in the corner of our minds, or the memory of careless words uttered thoughtlessly, causing doubt and insecurity to creep in. Sometimes we are wrapped around such profound grief, it defies comprehension. We are left with no way to assimilate and heal our pain.

We tell our tales to our best friends and lovers, to coworkers and sometimes in moments of desperation we even talk to strangers. Our stories are the culmination of our journey.

I am a chronicler, or perhaps a town cryer. Maybe I was your best friend, coworker, or lover. Maybe I was the stranger standing behind you in a line long enough for you to tell your story to me. Your story counts and is woven into a divine book called Human Drama. Your story is part of eventual recovery and illumination.

5.0 out of 5 stars touches your soul, April 14, 2000

This review is from: Ramblings of a Holy Woman in Plight (Paperback)
i just finished reading jean's book and it really touched my soul. she has an insight, depth and inner peace that can only be likened to maya angelou. at times the book was disturbing with the sad stories and problems whe was addressing but in the end she shows us all how to have hope and handle what life has dealt you and to achieve that inner peace for yourself. i also work with jean as a registered nurse and she lives what she preaches.
