Jeep grab bars,
By

This review is from: Rampage 769301 Grab Handle - Pair (Misc.)
The jeep grab bars are easy to install and very useful. I am petite and my husband is tall. He recently bought a new Jeep Wrangler and it's hard for me to get in and out of. The grab handles really help me out. The only fault I see with this product is this........in the product ad it does not tell you if you are getting one grab bar per order or two. I wanted to have one for each side of his Jeep, so I ordered two. When the order arrived, I had two sets of two instead of just two like I had thought I had ordered. So, lesson learned. If you need only TWO grab handles, then place your order for ONE of these items and you will get two. If you need FOUR, then order two and you will get two sets of two. Hope this helps others that are thinking of ordering this item. The item itself is great, but now I have two extra handles. Trust me, the next person I know that buys a Jeep is getting grab bars from me for their Christmas present.

Weak Buckles Break Easily!,

This review is from: Rampage 769301 Grab Handle - Pair (Misc.)
These grab handles appear to be well constructed except for the cheap plastic buckles. The first time I tried to cinch up the strap to the velcro one of the plastic buckles snapped rendering the entire handle useless.
I will be going to the hardware store tomorrow to find some metal buckles to substitute for these cheap plastic ones.

I installed these, after they arrived in record time ( a minor plus ) and on the first day after I decided to go for a drive and attempted to use the handle to stabilize my entry into the Jeep. I have recently undergone shoulder surgery so the added assistance was going to be a big plus. Unfortunately, to my great surprise, the handle BROKE! Yes,the stitching came completely undone and the handle came off in my hand. I did not even apply 1/4 of my body weight onto the strap, I only used it as I was seated and attempting to position myself properly in the seat. I never had this problem with the other straps that were previously installed. Very disappointed!!

Pretty handy,
This review is from: Rampage 769301 Grab Handle - Pair (Misc.)
My sister bought these for me because I was having a hard time getting into my jeep after my foot surgery. They fit pretty solid and do just what they were meant to do, give a hand holdiong position and make it easier to climb in as well as a place to grab onto when we are going on rough turaine. I am not the tallest guy and my jeep is jacked up pretty high. The driver side handle blocks the view a bit when installed but it still passed inspection okay, but it is really easy to slide the handle out of the way when I want to.

For 10$, these handles are great! They are very comfortable! The pad on the handle is nice and thick, and also the quality of these appear to be great. I've only had mine for 2-3 weeks, and they are still like new. These are a great set of handles!

These grabs are good quality. I have not had the problem with the handle rolling like some other people have commented. The rigid sleeve that fits the top of the roll bar in my Jeep Wrangler, does a great job of keeping the ends of the handle spaced out. I will get more of these for the rear seat of my Jeep.

These worked fine on my 2007 Wrangler. They do stretch quite a bit so make sure you have them as tight as possible when you attach them. They also seem to support quite a lot of weight from all the guys that use them to climb in. I wouldn't recommend any for the back seat. There isn't really a good position for them if you have a sound bar. There is a spot to fit, but friends have said it makes it awkward to hold.

These handles just came in the mail, and just as the title says, they are very affordable, but seem to be good quality. While I don't need a handle to get in and out of my tj wrangler, I'm sure that my passengers that climb in and out of the back with the top down will be happy that I have handles to hold themselves up next summer.
NOTE: Sold in pairs.

Product was shipped and arrived two days ahead of expected. The handles are well built and easy to install. My Jeep has a 3.5" suspension lift and my wife has been utilizing them to get in and out of the pasenger's door. They are holding up very well. These are well worth the money.
