5.0 out of 5 stars A Sense of Contentment and Accomplishment, November 10, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life (Audio CD)
When I put in the CD and begin to listen to the music of Jeff Britting's soundtrack "A Sense of Life", I know that for the next hour or so I will have a feeling of contentment and well, basically, happiness. I can only describe the music as new age (for lack of a better description) with a purpose - and the purpose is what makes the music so unique and meaningful. The CDs brief initial voiceover sets one on the right track. Later, the inclusion of a scene from one of Ayn Rand's works helps remind me of my goals and philosophy of life. Finally, the addition of Ayn Rand's presentation to Congress reminds me of the times in which she lived and the importance of freedom and individuality. Overall, Jeff Britting's soundtrack takes me somewhere where I want to go - back to myself and my sense of purpose, and yes too, to my sense of life. Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sense of music, July 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life (Audio CD)
This CD is a good listen. I have seen the documentary, which was nominated for an Academy Award for 1998, and the CD successfully takes you on the same jouney as the film. The music is thought provoking, but non intrusive enough that you can work and listen at the same time or just sit back and relax and follow the journey. Enjoy!
