Rand McNally is a premier publisher of road atlases and maps. One of their latest and most 'traveler friendly' is the 'Deluxe Midsized' edition of "The Road Atlas 2009" which is a spiral bound compendium of state and province maps, as well as a definitive collection of North American City Guides. More than just pages of maps, "The Road Atlas 2009" features selected attractions, recommended shopping opportunities, and useful visitor information resources. Thoroughly 'user friendly', "The Road Atlas 2009" covers all of the major metropolitan areas of the United States and Canada, is enhanced with a 'Map Legend', border crossing information, tourism contacts, even a mileage chart. All this and more makes "The Road Atlas 2009" a very highly recommended reference for personal and community library map and travel guide collections.
