If you want a map of St. Louis streets, this is not the map for you. This maps only shows the highways and interstates, about what you'd find in the free Missouri road map available from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Instead, look for the other Rand McNally map of St. Louis, on sale here at Amazon. If you click on the enlarged photo, you'll see the magic words "Complete Street Index." This is the one I should have purchased - and would have, if I hadn't been in a hurry.

The moral of the story is to always read the reviews. The title on this map, while not entirely deceptive, isn't entirely truthful, either. It list "Street Index" under the features, and there is one, of sorts. However, it's not a complete street index, as in the other map.

This was not what I expected. I want a street-by-street map. This is too 'busy' with highways and encompasses more than St. Louis area. For the first time, I am disappointed in an Amazon purchase. Either I didn't read the explanation or the info wasn't accurate.
