Built from the ground up for professional drivers, the IntelliRoute TND 720 LM incorporates hours of testing by truck drivers and was designed to help truckers in each phase of their work day, from planning to driving. With 35% more truck routing information than other GPS units, the device leverages Rand McNally proprietary truck data and know-how derived from over 70 years in the commercial transportation industry.
Furthermore, IntelliRoute TND owners benefit from certain features available only from Rand McNally, including RoadWork Construction Updates that gives options to route around construction ahead of you, and cross-references to Rand McNally's printed Motor Carriers' Road Atlas.
Through driver events, feedback from the Tell Rand feature on the TND, and talking with truckers who are on the road full-time, Rand McNally stays in close touch with the driver community. As a result, the IntelliRoute TND 720 LM is equipped to handle the demands of the job, with more driver-requested features than ever.
The IntelliRoute TND 720 LM features a new ruggedized design for long, hard trips, as well as an upgraded speaker and a brighter 7" screen.
The Wi-Fi connectivity of the TND 720 LM brings you faster current and forecasted weather data, including storms and wind speeds, displayed along your route, along with construction and software updates through enhanced Rand McNally Dock software. You can export your route and log data from your connected TND 720 LM for record keeping. There's also a video input for third-party back-up cameras.
Based on driver feedback, the IntelliRoute series delivers enhanced truck routing, including new routing options for added flexibility on how you reach your destination. An Exits Quick View helps you find out about truck-friendly locations off the upcoming exits along your route via a new button on the map screen. Fuel logging lets you track purchases and fuel use. And "bread-crumb" trails gives you the option to record and display the paths you've traveled--useful on or off roads.
Rand McNally IntelliRoute TND 720 LM, windshield mount with suction cup, quick start guide, wall charger, vehicle charger, USB cable.
This new GPS from Rand McNally, the TND720 is Great !
Rand Mcnally customer service directed me to send them the unit via snailmail, have the unit fixed by them, and then they will send unit back to my home.
I will probably get another 710 and and do something to try to protect the power cord from disturbance to see if it lasts longer.

The 720 is a terrible product. I bought my first one on 9/26. It worked great for one day. After that the right half of the screen was unresponsive to the touch. Read morePublished 20 hours ago by nick paget
