Don't get into your car without it.
The nicest thing about the 1999 Road Atlas are the special markings to point to a scenic drive. Unless you have the 1999 Road Atlas, you might never know what you are missing, if you solely travel on interstate highways. The 1999 Road Atlas is an extremely useful and even entertaining tool for anyone traveling in North America, that will serve you for years to come...

Too condensed for my use!
Nice size - lays flat - well bound, but far too condensed for my use. Many needed routes and highways are not even on the maps! A poor tradeoff to have 42 airport maps with gates when rural areas within most states are blank.

The 1999 Road Atlas is an extremely useful and even entertaining tool for anyone traveling in North America, that will serve you for years to come. Take some time to smell the roses - and see more scenery. And if you are from outside of North America, don't even thing about coming here without one. With the Rand McNally 1999 Road Atlas, you can study your intended road before you go, and that will make your trip a lot safer and more enjoyable. Believe me.

I'm a big world geography fan. I read a lot of maps. This is one map whit a lot of details. Anyboyd who fells there going to get lost anywhere or at anytime, you should pick up this atlas and use it. This atlas is good for most updates in the country and also in the city. So you feel you need to get a map so you won't get lost, use this map. It would really help you a lot!
