By reading the other reviews on this product, I knew when I purchased it that the area covered by this map is only a small slice of Chicago, and that it isn't a substitute for a real map. Luckily, that's not what I was looking for. I bought this map as a gift for my husband to use as a keyboard cover in his laptop -- and the pattern is perfect because he loves maps and he loves the city. It is the perfect size to cover the keys area, which protects his screen from being smudged up by any residue on the keyboard, and it's a quick dust-off cloth as well.

As a Chicagoan, who knows the city--but wants a reference on occasion (or to show a lost tourist), this is an easy map to carry bunched up in a pocket or purse. AND in a pinch, I can use it for winter nose--the dribbles, when I can't find a hankie or tissue!
