This is a beautiful CD which contains the soundtracks of both Random Harvest and The Yearling. I purchased it for Random Harvest only, but The Yearling is an added bonus. The titles for Random Harvest are as follows:
1. Opening Title & Asylum; 2. Addenda To Her Decision; 3. Little Marriage; 4. Kitty Continued; 5. Kitty Grows Up; 5. At The Savoy/Dreams At The Savoy; 6. Voice That Breathed O'er Eden/Wedding Remembrance (O Perfect Love)/Someone You Once Knew; 7. Prime Minister's Reception; 8. Try To Remember/Finale.
There are also some Additional Tracks, as follows: 9. Opening Title & Asylum (alternate recording - sans chorus) of Track 1; 10. Tobacco Shop Meeting/Medley/Leaving Biffers; 11. She's Ma Daisy sung by Greer Garson.

I highly recommend this recording for any fans of Random Harvest - the booklet which comes with the disc also contains interesting information about the making of the film including Greer Garson's remarks about 'Random Harvest': 'My most romantic scene? That was with Ronald Colman in 'Random Harvest', the story of a shell shocked veteran of World War 1 and the love he had forgotten. It was just after he recovers from his amnesia. We were meeting at our once beloved little cottage in the country. All the lost years of our love, and all the hopes of the future are crowded into that one scene. It hit the deepest emotional point I've ever experienced in a picture, and it remains a thrilling memory."

Random Harvest is my favorite romantic film.Part of the attraction is the soundtrack.You know...the wonderful,sentimental,endearing music that is the perfect accompaniment for those b&w movies from the 40's? This CD brings back the feeling beautifully.A little too beautifully as far as the Yearling soundtrack.I was traumatized by that movie when I was a kid,and the music is heartbreakingly beautiful.I think once was enough for me.I don't want to relive the tear-jerker of a movie again.I'm an old sap.
Anyway...the two soundtracks are wonderful in their own way. If you can handle the sadness of the Yearling ST,then go for this CD.
