5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for ballerinas, August 10, 2000
By A Customer
This was a very, very good book! I am in ballet and I wanted to learn more about the sport that I love! It told about all of the ballets I had seen and heard about. There were even a few that I had never heard of before. It is a terrific book for all dancers or just lovers of the ballet!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Introduction, November 17, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If you're a dancer or regular ballet-goer, you're probably familiar with all the stories covered by this book; but if you don't know much about ballet, or have a child beginning ballet, this is a beautiful book to start with. It covers the most famous ballet stories, like The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, as well as many popular but not generally known ballets like Giselle. The illustrations are beautiful, so even if you're familiar with all the stories, if you're a ballet fan you may still want to add this to your collection. BTW, as soon as I can I'll add a list of all the stories told in this collection.
