Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Gr 4-8-These books share some of the events in these athletes' personal and professional lives. Manning comes from a storybook/fairy-tale background. His father played in the NFL and young Peyton became accustomed to being in the company of the rich and famous. Moss came from a poor, segregated West Virginia town. He made some poor choices and was arrested. Both men earned scholarships, attended college, and are currently playing professional football. Both of these easy-to-read biographies have plenty of information, statistical charts, and color photographs.-Barb Lawler, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, PA
