This review is from: Randy Pausch: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams - The Lecture That Inspired the Book "The Last Lecture" [DVD]
Pausch was a professor at Carnegie Mellon who, during the final days of his life, showed how to live a life to its fullest. It was the best lecture I've ever heard, and will remember it when my days are numbered.
Rather than feeling sorry for himself -- Pausch had only a few months left to live before he would lose his life to pancreatic cancer -- he set about creating a legacy of what he would want his children to know about him thru a 75 minute lecture. His children will cherish his memory, and so will the millions of people who were privileged to view this generous, thoughtful, giving performance.
