The book described the original design concept of the vehicle. It identified the Range Rover evolution from the beginning to 1995. The book provided the entry level knowledge to the new and current owners, the price tag, and what to look for if you are shopping for a used Range Rover. Does this vehichle fit your life style and daily living with your family. It is very relaxing to thumb through the entire book, especially those colorful pictures. Surely, it is the Rolls Royce of the 4 wheel drive.

Although I have owned a Range Rover Classic for years I knew little about the history of them before I purchased this well written, well illustrated book. It contains a very detailed account of the development and later evolution of these cars and has many good photos showing the changes. It does not cover the post Classic Range Rovers. I have always thought that James Taylor's books were among the best on their subject and this is no exception.
