I had read reviews for this product but could not find it in a store to check it out. I would have liked to know what the product was made from before I purchased. Since the reviews were great, and even though it seems pricey, I bought one for myself and one for a friend who also scrapbooks. When they arrived, I was a little skeptical because the mat is so thin. We are both amazed at how well this works to keep the glue residue off the work surface. I now consider this item essential.

I use this constantly. It is sooo easy to wipe clean of anything sticky or any kind of ink or paint. It protects my cutting board surface when I get messy--which is often. It even takes the heat of my embossing tool. Very useful tool in my scrapbooking and card making.

I wasn't sure what I was really buying, but I knew I needed a non-stick craft sheet for my heat embossing needs. Well, I read around that some people even put this thing in their oven, so I decided what the heck? I'll try substituting it for the wax paper that I normally use in fusing plastic bags together. Normally, to fuse plastic bags, you sandwich these bags between two pieces of wax paper. Sometimes the paper sticks, you have a huge mess, and can't use the fused plastic you just created; not to mention the waste of using so much wax paper! This thing (the Ranger non-stick mat) works like a champ with melted plastic, so it gets my 5 star vote. Yes, it is a bit flimsy, but this lightness of weight only makes it more compact and portable! Roll it up, and off you go. I'm planning on getting another one and completely eliminating my need for wax paper at all. The less waste the better.

If you're looking for some thick, sturdy material, you may be simply looking for a cutting mat and thus have no need for this heat-resistant, non-stick mat. If you're crazy about different techniques, and interested in adding some heat to your art, this mat is for you!

I highly doubt that this is an authentic Ranger Craft Sheet. It was not boxed by Ranger, just loose in a cardboard tube and it was creased. I will not buy anything else from this distributor, World-Paper. I looked at a real Ranger Craft sheet in a store and it was much thicker than the one I received in the mail. Hugely disappointed in World-Paper. Authentic Ranger Craft sheets are awesome.

These are not Ranger craft sheets and this seller should be banned from Amazon. I ordered two of these sheets because my AUTHENTIC Ranger craft sheet has seen better days and the price seemed great. Well, now I know why they were so cheap. They came rolled up in a plain brown tube, no Ranger packing or markings on it anywhere. They were creased and somewhat dinged up. They are clearly not the same as the Ranger sheets. They are somewhat slick, but they seem to be lacking the non-stick surface that my Ranger sheet has. They are also not waterproof. Water or ink beads up at first, but the soaks into the sheet, so it's not good for mixing inks on.

While they'll work ok for some things, they're not the same as the Ranger sheets and are committing FRAUD by claiming they are made by Ranger.

I utilize acrylics and hot glue in my art work and a non-stick surface is a wonderful tool for me. I thought by purchasing this product I would have a much larger non-stick surface to work with which was exciting. But this product is too light weight and fragile for me to use as a tool for what I do. I wanted a mat really not a "craft sheet". It is paper thin about the thickness of parchment paper. It came in a box rolled up and it did not settle into a flat form, it is permanently kinked. When it gets bent out of shape, it creases and wrinkles like a piece of paper. Since it is so light weight and smooth a wisp of wind (like from a ceiling fan) sends it sailing. Also it scoots around on any smooth surface. So whilst trying to utilize it unless you tack it down or tape it to your work surface you'll find yourself chasing it.

What I received was not what I ordered. Not only did I have to eat the cost of shipping but the time it takes to go to the USPS. Really think I should be reimbursed shipping charges for being scammed. The product I received was not even close to the Ranger Craft Sheet I ordered. Amazon should remove them as approved sellers.

Yes, this is a great product. I put off buying because of the expense and also thought to myself that I had seen something like this in Bed Bath and Beyond for keeping the bottom of your oven clean. I was there today so checked it out. Low and behold it is the exact same item but quite a bit larger (23" x 16 1/4") so you can cut it in half and make two mats if you like. The best part was that the price was $9.99 which is half the price I have seen it for at all the craft stores!
