5.0 out of 5 stars Alcohol ink 3 pack is easy and fun
The alcohol ink 3 pack comes with easy to follow directions. The ink is fun to use because the results are somewhat unpredictable, so there is a little bit of a surprise when you are done. The three ink colors compliment each other and look good, and when you add a gold or silver the finished product is quite nice. The inks are great on non porous materials, such as...

1.0 out of 5 stars Too odorous, not vibrant, does not blend well
First off, you should know, these inks smell like nail polish remover, they have a very very strong odor. I really did not think they were that vibrant either. I liked the look of the inks on regular vs. glossy paper better for a smooth all over finish rather than a blotchy look (I could never get the so called marbled effect blending the colors on glossy paper with the...

You should consider purchasing an applicator (Adirondack Alcohol Ink Applicator) and Blending Medium

4.0 out of 5 stars love, August 24, 2011

This is the only ink that stays on metal for me. As a mixed media artist these are so necessary. I use on all that bling that comes in ugly color -- squirt some of this on it, set with heat gun and WOW transformed into delightful artsy piece. Cannot go wrong with Ranger products in my opinion. These are worth every penny.

Shipment was timely and good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Artist Trading Cards, November 24, 2011

My wife bought these to use while making artist trading cards. She puts the inks on dominoes or cards and swirls them around to make old looking and interesting patterns. She loves them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product - Beautiful Bright Colors!, August 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had been wanting a set for a while and asked some of my crafting friends what colors to buy because the selection is huge, I was told this set. The Wild Plum is a beautiful pink, I used it on the pockets (inside) of my daughter's clear backpack to personalize it. I highly recommend this product and can not wait to get another set!

1.0 out of 5 stars Too odorous, not vibrant, does not blend well, December 25, 2010
First off, you should know, these inks smell like nail polish remover, they have a very very strong odor. I really did not think they were that vibrant either. I liked the look of the inks on regular vs. glossy paper better for a smooth all over finish rather than a blotchy look (I could never get the so called marbled effect blending the colors on glossy paper with the alcohol medium). I only thought I'd give these a try because I found them half off and don't think I'll be giving these a try again in the future. One nice discovery however is that the distress inks do look vibrant on the glossy paper which I did try and liked.
