My 12-year-old son loves this series, and we'd highly recommend it. But note that this book, Oakleaf Bearers, was published in the U.S. as The Battle of Skandia.

This is the same book as "#4 The battle for Skandia" just with a different title.

Excellent book...However, I purchased it at a enormously elevated price. I didn't realize that Oakleaf Bearers is simply the 4th book in the Ranger's Apprentice Series but with a different title. (It has been released in the USA for awhile and can easily be purchased. I thought it was a new book in the series that I hadn't heard of and bought it at 5x the normal price...my fault.) Love the book, though. Great author!!!

A totally awesome series I discovered by accident. I am not a young person, and have avidly awaited

each and every volume.

Now I want the entire series in one grouping, if it can be found anywhere!

The Ranger's Apprentice series is fun, mysterious, adventerous, suspenseful. My 13 year old can't wait to get his hand on them; and even my 11 year old reluctant reader is engaged by the story. Would recommend to others.

This is a great adventure series for all ages written for young adults. I would recomend this to anyone who likes a good adventure with near death experiences at every turn. they young apprentice is quick witted and there is some dry and cutting humor mixed in with all the planning and fighting.

Ranger's Apprentice is a well-written, young adult book in a series. It has colorful characters and good voice.

This is the type of series where you can't wait for the next one to come out. I have ordered one from Australia and the rest either locally or through Amazon. I've already pre-ordered the next one due out!
