Unlike most SEO books, this has a lot of easy to understand information and tips. I was already doing many of the things but learned some new ways to use Google to position my site.

This is a good book for people who know something about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This book, in my opinion, is aimed at the target audience of those who have more than just a beginning knowledge of SEO and who are looking to add to their tool bag of things they can do to advance their standings. That being said, it could also be a good book for those who are just starting into the world of understanding how SEOs work as long as it is used to further their knowledge and have more success in a shorter amount of time. But, as a stand-alone book on SEO for a beginner, it is not designed for that purpose. For the beginner, I recommend this book only be used as a supplement to a good book on the basics of SEO and to understand that in that context it is worth the investment. For the more advanced person involved with SEO, it is a useful tool.

This book is packed with excellent strategies, explained concisely with good examples and screen shots of reports, etc. There are so many good ideas here, it is difficult to figure out which ones to act on first.

This book is very well written and easy to understand. James does a nice job of laying out all the important pieces to SEO and how to optimize your site. The techniques are up to date and current. Great book.
