Great Ranma CD!, April 21, 2000
This review is from: Ranma 1/2: Closing Theme (1989 TV Series) (Audio CD)
This was truly a great CD. I bought it when I bought the Opening Theme Song CD. I personally prefer this one over the that one, but that's just me. This CD is great for any Ranma fan, and any other person who just likes good music. Some of these songs are energetic and uplifting, but my favorite one 'Hinageshi [Poppy Flower]' was a slow, sad-sounding one. Also, the booklet that comes with this CD is excellent, because it has the japanese lyrics and also the english translation. So, you can sing along and know what you're singing! Wonderful CD!

By The Irrepressible Rumiko Takahashi, December 1, 2000

I am rather upset over the redneck's review of this album. I mean Spanish, Japanese slight difference you think? But it's not all his fault Sailor Moon's extensive Americanization has led many people to believe that it is American in origin. Someone looking into things similar to Sailor Moon, as Ranma is, might exect them to be in English. But all he would have to do s simply listen to it a few times, the difference in languages is obvious. Or you could also watch the CREDITS on Sailor Moon, another clue to it's origin Mr. Alabama.

Excellent, but..., November 13, 2000
This review is from: Ranma 1/2: Closing Theme (1989 TV Series) (Audio CD)
This CD is so great! I already loved Ranma and Nishio Etsuko, so when I saw it, I bought it immediately. I was surprised by how good it was, considering the overly kawaii Jajauma on the Opening Songs CD. I expected this to be just as cloyingly kawaii! Boy was I wrong... ^-^ But! My only problem with it is the liner notes... they're incomplete! At least two of the songs (Platonic Tsuranuite and Don't Mind, Rai Rai Boy) don't have all their lyrics printed! Che! But having Morikawa-san on the CD makes it all better...^-^ (Let's not all be too surprised about the person who thought it was Spanish...they can't spell *English* yet! Argh!)
