This video featres the first appearence of Ranma's cute fiancee, Ukyo Kounji! It's funny and.....well...funny! Pretty good regular Ranma animation, but the stories and humor set this tape as a Ranma 1/2 Classic.

Ranma 1/2 continues to be hilarious! In this one, you meet Ukyo, okonmiyaki chef. And guess what-she's also yet another one of Ranma's fiancees! To find out more, watch this video!

Originally, I started on Ranma 1/2 from Mangas, Online websites,and my best friend. I bought this tape because I feel in love with the characters, the plot, the setting, the humor, the list goes on. This tape is all this and more. If you don't know anything about Ranma 1/2 than I suggest you buy either the 1st manga or the 1st tape because it will give you a better understanding of (most) of the characters in here. But this tape is a definate yes. It introduces one of the best characters in the series, Ukyou Kuonji.

Takahashi Rumiko has a hold over some to the creative control of her Ranma anime series, something which is often not seen when something is moved from manga or text to anime.

I orginally bought this video because I liked the character Ukyo, hoever the manga version visually did not do her any just in appearance. The story is exactly the same as the manga, not surprising since the video and manga are published by Viz. It is funny, though not the funniest, but Ranma does get himself into a bind with women, again.
