This was the second Ranma tape I've ever watched but I know all about it from reading the mangas and this tape was great! The first episode was funny as Ranma destroyed Akane's hard cooking (accidentally of course!) and she got so mad that she refused to talk to him. Later, she runs away and has the whole family out looking for the entire night. You'll be surprised to see where she was the whole time!

The second episode has the return of Shampoo's little sisters, Ling-Ling and Lung-Lung who want to kill Akane so that Ranma and Shampoo can marry. They challenge Akane to a fight, saying that they have Ranma prisoner and that if Akane loses, she has to give him up but if she wins, she gets him back. Akane agrees but is warned by Cologne about the girls' super special Phoenix attack.

All in all, I thought this video was great and very funny as well. Ranma's voice is much better than the OAV series as well...it's thankfully deeper and sounds like his age. Two thumbs up!

Actually, I really like this video. The second episode is hillarious, and is one of my favorites from ANY series. Like the title says, however, it would be much better if there was more than two episodes to this tape. Viz is supposed to be correcting this starting with season 6, making each video they release thereafter 3 episodes each.

This has got to be the wierdest season of Ranma yet. So far it is the funniest. Ranma finally admits his love for akane.... How sweat. Very Outta Control! They should have kept the original voice though. Can't get use to the new one.
