Funny and Touching,

This review is from: Ranma 1/2 - TV Series, Vol. 3 (Collector's Edition) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In this installment, we find out about the one guy Akane did like besides Daddy. And how she has to deal with the fact that his heart is for another meanwhile Ranma learns that Akane can be really nice when he's not making fun of her. We also get a taste of how Ranma really thinks of Akane as well. Do you think that Ranma thinks of Akane as only "uncute"? You might be surprised that his hard headed stubborness might just have a thing for Akane.

Welcome back to life at the Tendo Dojo Family Training Hall. Ranma is known for his funny (and sometimes hurtful) comments and jokes aimed at Akane. This time he made one too many comments about Akane's unfeminine ways, and ends up in Dr. Tofu's clinic in unbelievable pain. Akane enjoys spending time with the kindly young doctor (seeings how she has a really big crush on him and all). As Ranma and Akane are leaving the clinic, Dr. Tofu pulls Ranma aside and tells him that Akane is "really a very sweet girl" and that he'll "understand soon enough." Just what does he mean by that? Later, back at school, Akane "accidentally" hits Ranma in the face with a baseball during gym class. On their way home they see Ranma's father (in panda form) sweeping outside of Dr. Tofu's clinic. As he explains that he got a job there, they all go inside to have a cup of tea while the doctor has a look at Ranma's latest injury. Eveything is going smoothly until the phone rings. Akane talks to the person who called. After she hangs up she suddenly says that she has to go. . . she has something to do. What could make Akane act this way? Who was the mysterious person who called? END

Ranma 1/2 TV Series Vol 3,

This review is from: Ranma 1/2 - TV Series, Vol. 3 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This tape is all about Akane and the neighborhood chiropractor, Dr Tofu. Some new plot twists here like how Akane sees Dr Tofu as more than just her doctor and also how Dr Tofu feels about someone else. Oh and his skeleton Betty! Also in this one, Kuno admits defeat and tries to proclaim his love to both Akane and Ranma (girl). This one also has one of the funniest lines in the 1st TV series... "Tatewaki Kuno was Furinkan High's greatest champion" I'm not really too fond of how Akane feels about Dr Tofy because it's not told really well it's a little boring. But the laughs that come with this tape are priceless. Check it out!

In this volume we find out that Akane has a crush on Dr. Tofu but Dr. Tofu already has someone that he loves. This tape has one of those rare scenes where Ranma and Akane actually get along...untill they start fighting again that is. This tape has some brief nudity.

I wrote the reveiw below this one (from "A Reader" that says that it was "Excellent! A must see!") and I forgot (dumb me) to put the name of the show I was reviewing in it. Since my review is not only on RANMA 1/2 T.V. SERIES VOL. 3, but also on others (when you click on them), I thought that some people might get confused and be like "This isn't what the review said it was! What was that person talking about?" So, to clear anything like that up, the review that I mentioned earlier was for RANMA 1/2 T.V. SERIES VOL. 3. Hope my forgetfulness hasn't caused anyone problems. : ) By the way, once again, this was a really good video! END
