Mike has a great imagination for storytelling. Interesting characters and plot. This story flows well, and is very easily played through the mind like a movie as you read.

This review is from: Ransom of the Phoenix (Paperback)
Ransom of the Phoenix is a well written book, with good character development. While the story comes to a good conclusion of what early in the story appears to be the issue that will be developed, the actual Ransom portion is engaging and well thought out. The details presented show that the author has a knowledge of nuclear power plants that goes beyond the common fear presented by the uninitiated.

While the two instigators of the suspense are amateurs that rapidly get in over their heads, the two primary antagonist are professionals that end up in control of their opposite factions, and are of the type to cross paths again.

I recommend this book as a good quick read for traveling or when you have a weekend and just want a good story. The story moves well, and the settings and facts realistic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Read, December 7, 2011
This review is from: Ransom of the Phoenix (Kindle Edition)
This is a well written adventure book. If Mr. Ault continues to write like this, I'm "all in". Consider what would happen if a shipment of highly refined "Fuel" was hijacked on the way to the power plant and you were inadvertantly caught in the middle...
