This book was amazing!! I absolutely loved the authors writing style, particularly how she takes you into the lives of her characters. From the love scenes to the heartaches, you feel every emotion that the characters experience.

Rap Star takes you into the life of a young but major rap artist, Animalistic. With fame comes many groupies and unlimited possibilites. He maintains this lifestyle until he meets someone who will forever change his way of living. A new spin on the life of rap stars, even though it is fiction, this book really borders the line of being a true story because it incorporates those artists that we know today. You won't be disappointed!!!

This insightful and well written romance was not my usual genre as the focus is on hip hop, but I thoroughly enjoyed this read. The character development was excellent, as Randi and Anthony (Animalistic) were very believable. Their feelings and emotions could be felt and appreciated. Although the story goes into great detail about the hedonistic lifestyle of rappers and the groupies that abound, ultimately Rap Star is a love story that describes that even super stars have emotions, feelings and can be vulnerable. This is a great read that I didn't want to see end. Well done.
