My dad got this game for me! He don't play video games! Now I have a hard time getting him off my PS3! So I moved it into the frontroom so he can play this game. It is fun for the whole family! So if you are looking for a game that is fun for all age's this is it! I have a great time watching my dad injoy this game! And the controls are semple for someone just getting started in the gaming world! This game is a good example of what the sixaxis controller's use is for! So if you like to fish and don't have the time to go! This is a good game to get just for fun and hours of enjoyment! Or just for family fun! This is the game that you are looking for! From his son!

Being able to find this product online was alot better than searching all the stores around the area weekly and not being able to locate it. The free Super Saver Shipping was what took the cake on me purchasing online. Very fun to have around when the weather is not cooperative for real fishing. Hope they make more and maybe some more hunting games for the PS3

Was fun for about a half hour, then the music, and repetitiveness got to me and I returned it within a week.

Newer version has better graphics and options, but this game is simply fun to use and its cheaper. Highly recommend for the young and young at heart.

This game was purchased because I enjoyed Rapala Pro Fishing on the PS2. One would assume that the new game would be an improvement over the old. That is not the case here, this game was developed for a quick buck in a empty market. The developers of this game and Activision should be ashamed of this product. I will carefully examine the reviews prior to any further Activision purchases.

I bought this game for my 6 year old nephew, who's really gotten into fishing over the past couple years, but usually only gets to fish when they visit grandma and grandpa over the summer. The fishing part itself is designed pretty well. My nephew was catching 29" large-mouth bass within an hour. So it must be fairly simple to pick up. Considering the lakes in this game are apparently only filled with large sized fish, he might be disappointed when it comes to doing the real thing again next summer. So far, we've only been able to fish two of the featured lakes. The others are locked for some reason, I've yet to discover. I guess that's how you progress to new levels. Some of the controlls could be more intuitive, and the way the game loads is a bit confusing even for adults, asking about saved games, the very first time the disc loads?? The graphics are rather poor - definately, not up to HD quality. But, I'll skip further criticism, as while I think the only reason this game rates as high as it does is because it has virtually no competition, my nephew absolutely loved it. Like actual fishing itself, you could hardly pull him away from it.

just got it it is fun but the manuel is no help when it comes to casting or driving the boat i turned like you do a car and that is how i figured it out. casting is like real fishing up and down real quik with the remote. other than having to learn pretty good fun.

I have played the game for some minutes in the story mode and I am surprised about details and control:

- Graphic is nice
- Control is more difficult than previous games
- Much more options to be selected in the menu

I will play again, after having studied the manual.....

I really enjoy this game. I love to fish but I haven't been in quite awhile. This game is almost more fun than real fishing.

I am a big fan of fishing games but this one really disappointed me. I paid full price for the thing only to bring it back a few days later and get virtually nothing for it. If you are into arcade type fishing games that are not realistic then you will enjoy this one. I thought this game was going to be like Rapala on the ps2 but it's not. I enjoyed rapala on the ps2 tremendously, but this new ps3 title failed IMO. If you want a realistic fishing title, then avoid this one. The graphics were great though and the fish looked very cool but the gameplay is horrid. I gave it a 2 for fun, and 3 for graphics.
