Looked like potentially a good game, bought it to learn more about lure selection and some entertainment while the weather was cold. The game makes you visually focus on a heads-up display for line tension so you really don't get to watch the action. Pretty much just get to stare at an indicator bar, very disappointing.

For a game released in 2009, this could have been a lot better. The graphics are okay; for a fishing game they should have been sharper. The gameplay is tedious after you catch a couple of fish. The strange arcade-like buttons and actions don't feel right for a fishing game.

If you like casual games or really, really like fishing games then give it a shot. Otherwise don't waste your money on a product that could have been a million times more interesting.

This game is a real tough one to evaluate. The graphics are awesome, and the fishing is varied enough to make it interesting. BUT... on certain lakes (which I cringe at when I see them loading) there are SO MANY GLITCHES that is makes it almost impossible to get through the level... or at least so frustrating that you'll just want to play something (anything) else. The underwater and above water visuals are stunning at times, and the fish (especially the Larry's) look awesome. However, you can only pick a male or female character, with no modifications. So there are some definite limitations. But... IF you're a patient person, and know that at certain times it's gonna take you an EXTRA LONG time to get through a level, give this game a shot. It has some of the best fishing graphics of any game I've seen, but also has the most glitches. Such as... the underwater graphics zoom out so far, that you are actually fishing from UNDERNEATH the lake bottom... WEIRD. Or, it is impossible to see what kind of fish is biting your lure, so you're not sure whether to set the hook or not. In summary, ive it a shot if you can find it for under $20.00. You'll get some good fishing enjoyment out of it... at least for a while!

Provides a decent challenge, and a fun inexpensive game option when you can't make it out on to the lake.

This game is none stop button mashing. You do not fish by tapping multiple button is succession. This might be the worst fishing game i have ever played, this is the worst game i have ever played.

I love to fish and have played several other fishing games on other platforms. This game is hard to learn and frustrating. Maybe it is just me, but there are too many things to try and do to keep the fish on the line and reeled in (I have yet to catch a fish and get it too the boat). I was looking for something that was more intuitive to play and actually catching a fish would be great! I would look at other options (unless you get a killer deal on this game) before you spend your $.

This was a good game..if you like fishing then it will be good. easy 1000 gamer score points i did it in like 4 hours.

Came fairly quick! Brother loves fishing and figured this would be perfect for him, for Christmas. He said he loves this game, and is playing it all the time!! Shipping was quick, and price was worth it!!
