Checked this product at six weight points over a weight range of 2 to 35lbs. Scale was found to be accurate to less than 2% error maximum over this range. Average error was less than 1%. Consistency of (same) weight applied repeatedly in the same manner was displayed as similar to overall accuracy. Display of weight stabilized quickly and held steady after weight application.
Would have preferred having a waterproof rather than water resistant unit case.
