Got this and was very excited to try it out! We caught some fish and started to fillet them. The second fish that I was cleaning I noticed that the handle got very hot and all of a sudden something broke inside the handle and sent black grease or oil flying all over the place.

Amazon was great about the return. The gave me a return label and my money was back in my account in less than 10 days!

In the past Rapala has always had superior products and I never would hesitate to purchase anything with their name on it! That is simply not true anymore. It seems more and more companies are sacrificing quality of a product in order to pocket a larger profit!

I found that the Rapala Electric Fillet Knife was very hard to use with the stupid safety switch. This was the last time I would ever buy a Rapala product.

Super Knife by Rapala. Anyone who says difficult to use w/ safety switch is an incompetent moron! I'd use knife anywhere!
