Antique Paper Dolls...a critique,

Ralphael Tuck has accumulated some wonderful imagery in his book on "Antique Paper Dolls in Full Color" However, the impact of the book, seems lost on the adult. In reviewing the pictures, I found that the emphasis, in my opinion, was towards a "coffee table book" as opposed to being useful in the inspiration of others to reflect on the times when the only dolls of this nature were found in affluent households. Will Raphael Tuck publish another Paper Doll Book to reflect the dolls of the not so affluent. We will see...
