Excellent choice for a hose reel
The hose reel is industrial stength. It is made to last. I had it mounted in about 30 minutes and not one leak. I have been through several cheap plastic hose reel in the past couple of years. This one may be may last.

not as advertized
very disapointed . only holds 100 ft. of garden hose not 150 as advertized . buyer beware .

This is a very nice, solid hose reel giving every appearance of quality manufacture and the promise of long life. It was easy to install, doesn't leak and actually winds up all 150' of water-filled hose without falling apart. My previous plastic reel with the 5-year warranty started to disassemble itself in the first year. By the end of the second it was in the trash.

I enjoy this product and like everything except the finish on the mounting bracked, which starting rusting right away. I was able to find a close match in a spray can and touch it up from time to time. Great cranking power and am able to pull 100 feet of hose in without straining the reel. Beats the plastic units hands down, I gave mine to the neighbor.

After suffering through several plastic reels that my wife, kids, and the sun all conspired to destroy - I found this. This reel just oozes quality. It's manufactured and supported domestically. It was easy to install and it reels very very smoothly. It has also passed the kid-jump-on-it test. Expensive, yes! Worth every penny? You Bet!
